I connected with so many artists and industry leaders, and the opportunities it created are endless for our music journey ahead! THANK YOU x
Special thanks to BIGSOUND & QMUSIC for granting me a Delegate Pass this year. To Toni Janke, Adrian Finglas and Emily Reid who welcomed me with open arms and organised two gigs for me while I was in Meanjin (Brisbane). One at the Cave Inn and one at Ballistic Beer! Both experiences were amazing and I had the time of my life. So grateful!
Being a part of BIGSOUND 2024 as a Delegate has opened up so many opportunities for me as an emerging artist and I can't wait to return in 2025. I met the most amazing awesome people, from Artists to Producers. The sense of community was one I've never felt all in one place, with Goolwal Goolwal being the highlight of my BIGSOUND journey.
I learnt so much from all the keynote speakers and came away with a wealth of knowledge and a bunch of new friends; some of whom I now think of as family. Every day was filled with excitement to learn more and connect! Everyone was fantastic! Huge congratulations to all the artists who showcased at BIGSOUND 2024! My absolute favourites included Toni Janke, Uncle Kevin Starkey of Darkwood Studio Record Label Services, Rochelle Pitt, Fred Leone, Boe Spearim, Canisha, Brad Brown, Simi Vuata, Zaachariaha Fielding of Electric Fields, Will Pawa-Oui, Kelis, Tones & I, Yarning Strong, Miesha, Kristal West, Byrd of Paradyse, Mulga Bore Hard Rock, Clare Cowley, Dem Mob, Dobby, J-Milla X Yung Milla, Warren Mason & Tin Camp Studios & making an appearance on Triple A Radio with Ian Calder and Clay Cassar-Daley!
